Dr. B R Krishnanand  MBBS MD

Professor & Chair

Dr. B. R. Krishnanand has MBBS and MD degrees and has been in the teaching profession since 1980 and is teaching Pathology since 1982. He joins AUA with his vast teaching and diagnostic experience. He is an ardent team player and has taught undergraduate students and residents in Pathology in Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India, Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal and was briefly associated with Sikkim-Manipal University in Gangtok, Sikkim. He has assisted 40 doctoral students in their research work and has dozens of publications in National and International Medical Journals. He is known for his unique teaching skills. He won the ‘good teacher’ award in the years 2002 and 2004 while serving Kasturba Medical College.
